The name is "Gee" (for anonymity). I've been DJ'ing since February of 2007. I've done gigs here and there for organizations and close friends but I never really considered DJ'ing professionally until June of this year (2011). To put it shortly, three things got me to reconsider pursuing a DJ career:

1) People, especially good friends, who approach me and say things like, "You should be in the f**king clubs?!"

2) Going to popular clubs and listening to the resident DJ spin and finding myself saying, "I could do that... maybe even better."

3) I've shared 100s of mixes over the years but joining Mixcrate.com and seeing how many people were listening and downloading my stuff slowly made me realize I was good enough to get some gigs.
